This seminar intends to provide the theoretical background and applicable tools to teaching and assessing L2 writing. The course will introduce students to theories of writing, text competence, multimodality and text genres. Students will also learn about collaborative as well as process- and genre based approaches to teaching writing. Furthermore, participants of the course will learn to apply diagnostics, test theory and tools of evaluation and feedback to L2 writing.
