The Festival of Sukkot: Reading chosen Discussions in the Talmud and Midrash
In this class we will examine central discussions in the Talmud and the Midrash which can reveal the ideas behind the festival of Sukkot as it was understood by the rabbis in the time of the Tannaim and later on in the Amoraic period.
The course will be conducted in English, accompanied by Hebrew texts.
