In this course we will prepare the participants to work productively in a Linux network environment as well as the basics
of file management.
We will take into account the needs and wishes of the group but default topics incorporate the retrieval of archival data as well as typical file formats and their handling in astrophysics.
We are going to work out hands-on examples of plotting and modelling these data.
Furthermore we will touch the basics and specialities in using LaTeX in astrophysics including proper citing and formula layout.
The successfull attendent will also become aquainted with the usage of the GNU C compiler.

In this course, we will study how to solve Einstein's Equations on the Computer.
