In the first part of this seminar, students will be acquainted with the theoretical and methodological concept of “cultural conceptualization” in the framework of Cultural Linguistics. On that basis, students will then apply this concept to the analysis of culturally salient issues in varieties of English and possibly other languages of their choice.
