The Seminar is dedicated to the discussion of recent peer-reviewed journals' publications relevant for the studies on the development of major cognitive processes and on the effects of action and perception on the formation of higher-order cognitive functions (eg, language, memory, Etc).

During the seminar, the following topics are discussed: Brain development, Perception and understanding of the physical world, The emergence of action, The growth of cognitive skills, Language development.

 Book chapters and papers, related to these topics are presented by students and are followed up by group discussions and other tasks aimed at deepening students' understanding of the topics.

Seminar assignments: Paper presentation(s) and an essay (for a graded performance only).
