Stories and picturebooks offer engaging, meaningful opportunities for language learning in the primary EFL classroom. This seminar explores how stories can be integrated into teaching and learning processes to support the development of vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. It combines theoretical insights from ISLA with practical applications, such as selecting and adapting stories to create corresponding materials for different learner groups.

Participants will have the opportunity to actively shape the course and some of its focus areas. By the end of the seminar, they will have explored classic and AI-based resources to build a repertoire of story-based teaching materials, ensuring a practical and tangible outcome for their future teaching practice.
