This seminar will focus on some key skills that you develop and employ during your studies and beyond. We will ask: What do we do in English and American Studies, what are some of the field's central approaches, and how is this useful for your future career? Over the course of the seminar, you will develop a plan for a creative/academic project that builds on your skills and interests. At the end of the semester, all students will present their project and show how diverse the career opportunities are for humanities graduates.
