In this project, we will explore the relationship between human-likeness of robots and their likability, the so-called Uncanny Valley phenomenon. We will study how culture influences perceptions of these robots over time. Through online studies, you will gain experience in data collection and analysis using R. The course emphasizes research methodology, statistical analysis, and cross-cultural expertise. We will also discuss the broader impact of the Uncanny Valley on robotics, psychology, and culture. The course will be in English.
