In this course, participants who study English as a second language in teachers training will acquire the necessary tools to navigate academic surroundings. The course will be held by Hannes Lang in the Wintersemester 2023/24. The topics of the course will include understanding science itself, study regulations, citing and referencing correctly, avoiding plagiarism, formatting guidelines, navigating Uni Potsdam (digital) services, researching literature via the use of databases and libraries.
This course is aimed at teacher training students of English in the first semester or earlier semesters in general.
