Diese Veranstaltung findet auf Englisch statt. Sie wird gemeinsam für die BA-EMW-Studierenden und die Studierenden des neuen
| internationalen Studiengang "Science Climate, Earth, Water, Sustainablity" (CLEWS) veranstaltet. How can we inform about climate change? How to talk about climate change in a way that makes a difference? This seminar will cover the basics of climate change and science communication, taking a broad view of the topic. For by now it has become clear that there is no easy path from science to action, from numbers to people's minds. Narratives, images and metaphors, different media formats from press releases to films to climate games, show the diversity that already exists in communication. Yet the seminar also takes international perspectives, asks about the emotions that prevent communication, and highlights the importance of climate justice. |
