The colloquium is intended for students who are about to begin work on their MA-thesis in "Fremdsprachenlinguistik" or "KoVaMe." Ideally, the colloquium would be attended during the last semester of course work or during the semester in which students are preparing their thesis. The following points will be addressed: the ion of a research topic and the negotiation of the topic with the supervisor, the methodologies/methods most appropriate for executing the research and writing the thesis, a critical review of the research projects.
